The Love & Compassion of The Lord

God’s love for us is forgiving, eternal, never changing. He is always for us. These verses prove that. His love causes Him to be compassionate towards us as well. Jesus was compassionate when He ministered and He is still compassionate in heaven.

The Love of the Lord 

The Lord Loves the Righteous (we are)
Psalm 146:8……The LORD loves the righteous.

The Lord Loves Those Who Love Him
Proverbs 8:17 "I love all who love me. Those who search for me will surely find me.  NLT

The Lord Loves Us With an Everlasting Love
Jeremiah 31:3 The LORD has appeared of old to me, saying: "Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.

God So Loved the World (Us)
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. v17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 

Jesus Loves Us As the Father Loves Him
John 15:9 "As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love

Jesus Loved Us Enough to Die For Us
John 15:13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends.

We Love Jesus The Father Loves Us

God the Father Loves Us as Much as Jesus

The Love of God Sent Jesus To Die For Us
Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Nothing Can Separate Us From God’s Love
Romans 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? v38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,

v39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The God of Love & Peace Will Be With You
2 Corinthians 13:11Finally, brethren, farewell. Become complete. Be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.

God Is Rich In Mercy Because of His Great Love
Ephesians 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,

v5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),

God Loves Us and Calls Us Children of God
I John 3:1 Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God!.......

We Know His Love Jesus Died For Us
1 John 3:16 By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us.

God Loved Us Sent Jesus1 John 4:10…..He loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.   NLT

The Compassion of the Lord

Jesus Had Compassion on the Multitude
Matthew 14:14 And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick.

Jesus Had Compassion on the Two Blind Men
Matthew 20:33 They said to Him, "Lord, that our eyes may be opened." v34 So Jesus had compassion and touched their eyes. And immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed Him.

Jesus Had Compassion on the Leper
Mark 1:40 Now a leper came to Him, imploring Him, kneeling down to Him and saying to Him, "If You are willing, You can make me clean." v41 Then Jesus, moved with compassion , stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to him, "I am willing; be cleansed."  v42 As soon as He had spoken, immediately the leprosy left him, and he was cleansed.

Jesus Had Compassion on the Widow’s Dead Son
Luke 7:12…a dead man was being carried out, the only son of his mother; and she was a widow. …v13 When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said to her, "Do not weep."  v14 Then He came and touched the open coffin, and those who carried him stood still. And He said, "Young man, I say to you, arise."  v15 So he who was dead sat up and began to speak.
