‘Godly’ means integrity and complete
The Lord gives good sense to the godly
Proverbs 2:7 He grants a treasure of good sense to the godly .
The Lord is the friend of the godly
Proverbs 3:32 wicked people are an abomination to the LORD, but he offers his friendship to the godly .
The godly are showered with blessings
Proverbs 10:6 The godly are showered with blessings;
Godly words lead to life
Proverbs 10:11 The words of the godly lead to life;
Godly words are like sterling silver
Proverbs 10:20 The words of the godly are like sterling silver;
The godly have a lasting foundation
Proverbs 10:25….the godly have a lasting foundation.
The godly will never be disturbed
Proverbs 10:30 The godly will never be disturbed,
God rescues the godly from danger
Proverbs 11:8 God rescues the godly from danger,
Godly rewards will last
Proverbs 11:18 the reward of the godly will last.
Godly people find life
Proverbs 11:19 Godly people find life
The godly look forward to happiness
Proverbs 11:23 The godly can look forward to happiness,
The words of the godly save lives
Proverbs 12:6…..the words of the godly save lives.
The godly are not harmed
Proverbs 12:21 No real harm befalls the godly ,
The life of the godly is light and joy
Proverbs 13:9 The life of the godly is full of light and joy,
The wealth of sinners passes to the godly
Proverbs 13:22….but the sinner's wealth passes to the godly .
The tent of the godly flourishes
Proverbs 14:11….the tent of the godly will flourish.
The wicked will bow before the godly
Proverbs 14:19…the wicked will bow at the gates of the godly .
There is treasure in the house of the godly
Proverbs 15:6 There is treasure in the house of the godly
The godly think before speaking
Proverbs 15:28 The godly think before speaking;
Gray hair is a crown of life for the godly
Proerbs 16:31 Gray hair is a crown of glory; it is gained by living a godly life.
The Lord’s name is a strong fortress the godly run there and are safe
Proverbs 18:10 The name of the LORD is a strong fortress; the godly run to him and are safe.
The godly are bold
Proverbs 28:1 The wicked run away when no one is chasing them, but the godly are as bold as lions.
When the godly are in authority the people rejoice
Proverbs 29:2 When the godly are in authority, the people rejoice.
The godly know the rights of the poor
Proverbs 29:7 The godly know the rights of the poor;
