Pastor Barry's  "Chapter & Verse"  Day 74

March 15, 2018;      Matthew 24:5;       24/260(IV);        ‘The antichrist’

Matthew 24:5 For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many.

Matthew 24 and Revelation 6, the seals on the scroll, are very closely related.  When Jesus opened the first seal the antichrist is revealed riding a white horse.  The first seal released Revelation 6:1 Now I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals; and I heard one of the four living creatures saying with a voice like thunder, "Come and see." v2 And I looked, and behold, a white horse. He who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer. the antichrist to begin his satanic assignment. The rider on the white horse has a bow but no arrows, he will conquer by deception. Then as now, we must know the Word of God so that we are not deceived. The white horse rider has no crown because one has to be given him, by the devil’s promotion and deceived mankind. He will deceive men that he is the savior of the human race and that he can bring the world together. During the first 3.5 years he is not identified as the antichrist but a great world diplomat. (Daniel 9:27) Daniel states that at the beginning of the 7 years Tribulation the antichrist enters into an agreement with Israel to pretend to be their ‘ally.’  3.5 years later, mid Tribulation, he breaks his agreement with Israel and reveals himself as who he is.  Remember the devil is a liar.  Israel has always been persecuted because they are God’s people and because of Jesus.  When the antichrist, a deceiver just like satan, begins as a man of peace, he will be a hero.  That all ends mid tribulation as he reveals himself as satan’s servant.
