Pastor Barry's  "Chapter & Verse"  Day 49

February 18;      Revelation 21:4 ;       259/260(III);        ‘Forever With Jesus’

Revelation 21:4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."

Verse 3 tells us that we shall be the Lord Jesus’ people and Jesus shall be our God forever.  There will be no more crying, pain, or death.  All of this has passed away.  We shall dwell on earth forever with our Lord and Savior Jesus.  Think about this.  Many people have had great pain and suffering in this lifetime.  Once they become born again, though there still may be some challenges, their eternity with Jesus is certain and then there will be no more sorrow and pains.  If they do not know the Lord, the trials here on earth will be nothing compared to an eternity separated from our Lord.  That is why, we as believers must do everything we can to reach as many as we can for the Lord.  Praying for revival, which will bring multitudes to Jesus in a short period of time must be a priority of the church. Satan will be forever in the lake of fire. There will be no more curse on the earth and we will be forever with the Lord Jesus and God the Father.  We do not know everything that the Lord has planned for His people, but as long as Jesus is with us, it will be incredible.  I have often wondered why the Lord made all of the stars.  Perhaps with our resurrection body, which will be able to travel at the speed of thought, we will be able to tour the galaxies.  In the Bible, every word has importance and meaning.  The creation of Jesus Christ can have no less importance.  I am so grateful that since becoming a Christian, this life, serving the Lord has been such a blessing.  If this is so good, I can only imagine what forever has in store.
