February 17;      Revelation 20:10 ;       258/260(III);        ‘satan’s Eternal Destiny’

Revelation 20:10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

When the battle of Armageddon concludes, the earth will enter a one thousand year period of time called the Millennium.  A mighty angel comes down from heaven chains satan throwing him into the bottomless pit for the one thousand period of time.  The earth will no longer be cursed and without the devil’s presence, the earth will enjoy peace.  The Lord Jesus will rule and reign on the earth.  People will live incredibly long, since sickness was part of the curse.  Now this is where we need to think about this period of time called the Millennium.  When the Millennium begins everyone on the earth, who survived the tribulation, will be born again.  These believers will either be married or marry during the Millennium. Old Testament saints, the Church and the tribulation martyrs will have new, resurrection bodies and we won’t be married or have children.  The tribulational saints will be the only ones with human bodies.  They will have children and even though the Lord Jesus will be ruling and reigning, those children growing up will have to decide to become Christians.  Most probably will, some will not.  At the end of the Millennium, satan will be released from the bottomless pit.  He will deceive those who have not accepted Jesus, they will surround Jerusalem, fire comes down destroying them. satan is then cast into the lake of fire where he will be tormented eternally along with the antichrist and all those who followed him.  Think of it eternity with God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
