Pastor Barry's  "Chapter & Verse"  Day 38

February 7;      Revelation 10:7;       248/260(III);        ‘The Mystery Finished’

Revelation 10:7 but in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets.

The great tribulation is raging and the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ is rapidly approaching.  A mighty angel has a little book.  I believe the little book contains the final acts of God before the Second Coming of Christ.  In verse 5 he raised up his hand to heaven representing a solemn oath that what is contained in the little book is about to take place.  In verse 6 the angel swore to the Lord that there would no longer be a delay in the end of the end times.  In this verse, when the trumpet of the seventh angel was sounded, the mystery of the end times would be completely revealed.  The Lord wins.  He has done everything He can to reach the Jews and the Gentiles.  In spite of the antichrist’s desperate and determined efforts to eternally destroy the lives of people, multitudes will be saved and though many will be martyred, they will be forever with Jesus, thus freeing themselves from the evil desire of the antichrist.  The mighty angel tells John to take the little book out of his hands and eat it.  The little book tastes sweet in the mouth, referring to the never ending love and efforts the Lord makes to save everyone.  The little book becomes bitter in the stomach.  Many, with hardened hearts, deceived by the antichrist will reject all of the efforts of the Lord and be lost.  The Lord Jesus has no pleasure in the death of the wicked.  God the Father and Jesus want everyone to be saved and they can be. No one can ever say the Lord was unfair.
