Pastor Barry's "Chapter & Verse" Day 35
Pastor Barry's "Chapter & Verse" Day 35
February 4; Revelation 7:17; 245/260(III); ‘The Shepherd in Heaven’
Revelation 7:17 for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."
The scene is heaven and these verses are kind of an overview of what will be going on. I want to remind you again that this is the revelation of Jesus Christ. He will be pulling out all of the stops in order to see the Jews saved. Multitudes of Gentiles will be saved as well. Many will be martyred, but again martyrdom is infinitely better than hell. One hundred forty four thousand Jews will be sealed or anointed by the Lord to preach the gospel. They will seemingly have supernatural protection to do what the Lord ordains them to do, which is preach the gospel to the Jews. Moses and Elijah will supernaturally appear for a short period of time preaching. Three angels will be circling the earth preaching the world system is collapsing, turn to the Lord and never take the mark of the beast. There will be natural disasters all over the world to get the attention of the lost. Many people will remain hard hearted and not turn to Jesus, but many of them will. The terror reign of the antichrist during the second half of the tribulation or the great tribulation will be fierce, but what Jesus is doing will to a large degree hinder the antichrist’s efforts. Meanwhile in heaven, the Old Testament saints, the church, those martyred during the tribulation will all be worshiping the Lord Jesus around His throne. The ‘waters’ represent the constant refreshing we will have in the presence of the Lord and Jesus will wipe away our tears. Eternity has begun. What a future awaits.
