Pastor Barry's  "Chapter & Verse"  Day 349

December 15;      Mark 11:24;      39/260;      ‘When You Pray Believe’

Mark 11:24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

Faith believes the prayer is answered when you pray. This is such a misunderstood truth.  Faith is based on the Word of God. Part of our difficulty with believing we have the answer to our prayer when we pray is that we do not know what the Word of God says.  The only way to remedy that is to build your faith on the Word of God (Romans 10:17).  When you have a need, by knowing the Word and having your faith built up on the Word until you believe what the Word says, find the chapter and verse in the Bible, that tells you that the need you have is covered by scripture. Then you can pray, believing the need is already met, because the Word of God tells you that it is. Our faith is not 'blind.' Our faith is based on what the Word of God tells us is ours. Pray in line with the Word, believing the Lord has answered that prayer based on the Word.  Once you have done this, stand, thanking the Lord that since His Word is true and you have prayed in line with the Word, your prayer is answered.  You do not have to pray that prayer over and over.  Pray it once in faith, stand as you wait for the answer to manifest and thank the Lord that he has heard and answered your prayer.  As you pray in this manner, which is the biblical way to pray, your faith will grow as you experience the Lord answering every prayer you pray.  Always do things God’s way, the Bible way and have great success.  Think about this.  God’s Word is the Last Will and Testament of the Lord Jesus Christ.  The blessings in the Word are what He has left for the Church.  You have a legal right to pray believing each blessing is yours.
