Pastor Barry's  "Chapter & Verse"  Day 334

November 30;   Matthew 24:3;   24/260;   ‘The End of the Age’

Matthew 24:3  “Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?"

The disciples commented to Jesus about how magnificent the temple was. Jesus tells them that in the future, the magnificent temple would be torn down. The disciples questioned Jesus about ‘end times.’ When you want to know what is going to happen, it is what the Bible has to say and no one else that matters. Not a government, or a ridiculous ‘disaster’ movie, or the History channel and not climate change can declare when the end of the age will be. The end time events will happen exactly as the Bible teaches. In the Book of Revelation, the Bible teaches that it is the revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus is in charge and always will be. In the seven year period of time we call the tribulation, the Lord Jesus is doing everything He can to open the eyes of the Jewish people to the fact that He is the Messiah. Multitudes of Jews will be saved and multitudes of gentiles as well. There will be persecution by the devil and the anti-Christ in the second half of the tribulation. The Church will be raptured out of the earth before the tribulation begins. During the persecution time of the tribulation, the Lord will make a way to protect all of those who become Christians during this time. Jesus returns at the end of the tribulation and the anti-Christ and his followers are removed. Jesus then sets up His earthly millennial reign and satan is bound and cast into the bottomless pit for a thousand years. If you are a Christian, you have nothing to fear. If you are not a Christian, I pray that you will accept God’s great gift of love, which is found in His Son Jesus Christ.  Jesus Christ is the Victor.
