Matthew 18:19 "Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.

Prayer is incredibly important.  Since it is so important, Almighty God, in the Word of God gives instructions on the various kinds of prayer, and the rules that govern these kinds of prayer.  The prayer of agreement is powerful.  The rules that govern the prayer of agreement are that you need two people, they must agree (one cannot be in faith for the needed answer and the other not in faith), and concerning anything refers to anything covered by the Word of God.  When two stand in agreement on a scripture or scriptures, asking in faith, the Word teaches that the prayer will be answered. The power of the faith of one who is praying is added to the power of faith in the other who is praying, making extra power available to get the job done.  Here is something that must be taken very seriously.  You need to know where the person you are agreeing with is spiritually.  There are many good Christians who do not believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit or that it is the will of God to heal you.  Since there is great power in a Spirit filled believer, you probably do not want to pray in agreement with someone who is not Spirit filled.  If someone doesn’t believe in healing you cannot ask them to agree with you for healing.  No one is saying these Christians are not sincere, they simply do not believe or have never been taught some of the truths the Word of God offers. Pray in agreement with people of ‘like precious faith’ and get the job done.  This prayer is especially important when a believer does not have a great deal of faith.  They can hook what faith they do have to the faith of a stronger believer and the Lord will answer that prayer.
