Pastor Barry's  "Chapter & Verse"  Day 304

October 31;   Revelation 16:16;      254/260(IV);      ‘Armageddon’+

Revelation 16:16 Then they gathered the kings together to the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon.

The end of the tribulation.  The end of the antichrist’s short ‘reign.’ The end of grace for those who have rejected Jesus.  The beginning of the end as the two hundred million man army is being drawn to the valley of Megeddo.  Three of the bowls that will be poured out, inflict intense agony and suffering on those who have rejected Jesus.  They blaspheme the Lord and refuse to repent.  It is hard to imagine, as the unsaved experience the righteous judgments of Jesus, that they would not realize that they are ‘on the wrong team.’  Perhaps when the take the mark of the beast, their minds are so deceived that any feelings but hatred toward God are not possible.  Again, I say, it is probably not impossible for those who have neither accepted Jesus nor taken the mark of the beast, to be saved.  Hearing the angels preach (chapter 14), knowing about or having seen the two witnesses (chapter 11), possibly being witnessed to by one or more of the 144 thousand Jewish evangelists (chapter 7) and finally seeing the cruelty of the antichrist’s followers, would have to convince them that Jesus Christ has won and is in control.  The prayers of the church in heaven is also rooting for them to get saved in these final days of the tribulation.  The sixth angel’s bowl dries up the Euphrates River and makes a road for the antichrist’s two hundred million man army to head to the battle of Armageddon.  Soon Jesus will mount His white stallion and lead the church to do battle. The battle will be over quickly, Jesus Christ is Lord and Champion.
