October 30;   Revelation 15:7;      253/260(IV);      ‘Seven Golden Bowls’

Revelation 15:7 Then one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God who lives forever and ever.

Jesus Christ is in control.  The antichrist will be endeavoring to deceive those still unsaved that he is god.  He is also persecuting those who became born again and those who still are not born again, but have not received the mark of the beast.  Verse 1 tells us that there will be seven angels having the seven last plagues of the Lord.  These plagues will be on the waters of the earth and the earth itself.  They will also cause suffering and misery on those who have taken the mark of the beast.  The seven angels will be dressed as priests (verse 6) meaning the plagues will be directly from God, poured out on the demonic forces of the antichrist and those forever lost because they have received the mark of the beast.  This verse teaches that one of the four living creatures give the seven angels, seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God.  God is love, but those who have willfully rejected the Lord and sealed their eternal destiny are about to be dealt with by Almighty God.  Nothing the antichrist and his forces do compare to the suffering they will receive.  The Word does not say that the antichrist will cease his persecution of the Christians, but it will be very difficult for them to continue their fierce oppression due to the suffering they will experience.  Verse 8 states that the glory of the Lord fills the heavenly temple.  No one is allowed into the heavenly temple until these seven bowls are poured out.  It is still, incredibly, not too late to accept Jesus, but between satanic activity and the seven bowls, conditions will be horrific.
