October 24, 2019;   Revelation 9:16;      247/260(IV);      ‘Armageddon Preview’

Revelation 9:16 Now the number of the army of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the number of them.

The fifth angel sounds his trumpet and locust type creatures are released from the bottomless pit.  They sting and torment those who have not yet accepted Jesus.  They will be active five months and their purpose is to cause the lost to seek the Lord.  The sixth angel’s trumpet releases a two hundred million man army.  They will be supernaturally drawn to the battle of Armageddon.  The antichrist and his satanic followers will feel invincible seeing this mighty army.  As always Israel will be the focus and they will march on believing they will be following the direction of the antichrist, when in reality the Lord is drawing them to their ultimate demise.  Satan is not God.  He is not omniscient, knowing the future.  The Word of God teaches that when Jesus was crucified, the devil thought he won.  He had no idea that Jesus came to be crucified to set humanity free from their separation from the Father.  Jesus Christ is Lord and we will see in Revelation 19, the Lord Jesus on His white stallion will lead His church, also on white horses, to do battle at Armageddon.  It is called a battle, but it will be over very quickly as Jesus wielding the Word of God out of His mouth will annihilate the satanic army.  The antichrist and his forces will be thrown into hell.  Our adversary, satan, will be bound for one thousand years and thrown into the bottomless pit.  At that time, the curse will be lifted and the earth will enter the Millennium, with Jesus Christ ruling the world. Our role as the church will be to rule and reign with Jesus our Lord.
