July 18:   Revelation 16:2;   254/260(I);   ‘The Wrath of God’

Revelation 16:2 So the first angel left the Temple and poured out his bowl over the earth, and horrible, malignant sores broke out on everyone who had the mark of the beast and who worshiped his statue.   NLT

The Lord is about to unleash the seven last plagues on the earth.  He is pouring out His wrath on the antichrist and his forces, those who have taken the mark of the beast.  These plagues are similar to the plagues the Lord brought upon the Egyptians to let the Jews leave.  The first three plagues in Egypt were upon everyone, Jew and Egyptian alike.  The Lord did this to get the attention of the Jews.  After the third plague in Egypt, they only manifested on the Egyptians, the Lord spared the Jews.  During the great tribulation, the same thing will be happening, the wrath of God is being poured out on those who have rejected Jesus.  Amazingly enough, there are Christians, who have not been martyred, still alive.  They have been protected in various ways by the Lord.  It is still not too late for those who have not taken the mark of the beast and have survived, to accept the Lord Jesus as well.  Those who have rejected the Lord Jesus arrogantly blaspheme His holy Name.  Those who aligned themselves with the antichrist will be completely deceived and have no knowledge on the incredible love of Jesus Christ for them.  If they have taken the mark of the beast it is eternally too late.  Counterfeit signs and wonders will be done by demonic spirits, but they only serve to fulfill the will of the Lord.  These demonic spirits will draw the antichrist forces to Armageddon, having deceived them into believing that they will win the battle that will take place shortly.  The devil has lied to and deceived the antichrist’s forces.  We will see in chapter 19, the complete victory of Jesus Christ at Armageddon.  Jesus is Lord.
