February 24;        Acts 21:20;         110/260;        ‘Rejoice For Others’

Acts 21:20 And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord……….

What was it that James and all of the elders in Jerusalem glorified the Lord about.  Verse 19 tells us that Paul shared with them what the Lord had done through him in his ministry to the gentiles.  There is a never ending ‘supply’ of people to minister to.  Your rejoicing with testimonies of how the Lord has used others to successfully minister and lead others to Jesus blesses the person sharing the testimony and the Lord.  If the angels in heaven rejoice over the salvation of people, we should too.  There is no room in the Body of Christ for jealousy.  That would put us in the same category as the Pharisees who were jealous because of the ministry of the Lord Jesus.  The Lord is no respecter of persons, what He did through Paul, He will do through you as well.  There is a call on each of our lives.  We are all ambassadors for Jesus and ministers of reconciliation.  Whatever you do and wherever you go ask the Lord to use you and look for opportunities to share Jesus or pray for someone.  Every person is incredibly important to the Lord.  Jesus gave His life for every human being.  Your ministry to a single person or a multitude is vital.  As you listen to the testimony of others who the Lord has used, glean from what the share.  There are always things you can learn as you listen that will make you better able to fulfill what the Lord has called you to do.  If you sincerely desire to do the Lord’s work, and have a grateful heart, when you hear of how another has been used, this pleases Jesus and He will see to it that you have a testimony too.
