July 6; Revelation 7:9; 245/260; ‘The Great Multitude’

Revelation 7:9 After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could
number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the
Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands,
At some point during the tribulation all of the believers throughout history will stand before God
the Father and the Lord Jesus. The Old Testament saints and all of the new Testament Christians
will be worshipping the Lord and declaring our love, gratitude and adoration. The martyrs from
the tribulation will join rest of the believers. Angels and elders will fall on their faces before the
throne and worship God. What a scene this will be. We will all stand before Jesus when we get
to heaven and at some point be rewarded for our faithfulness to fulfill what He has called each of
us to do. When this is over, everyone who has loved and believed on Jesus will be together
praising, loving and thanking God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. When the tribulation is
over we will return to earth with the Lord Jesus for the battle of Armageddon. It really is no
battle, the Lord Jesus destroys the forces of darkness with the Word of God that is released out of
His mouth. The anti-Christ will be thrown into the lake of fire and the devil will be bound for
one thousand years. We will all have assignments to rule with the Lord Jesus on the earth for the
one thousand year period called the millennium. The Bible does not tell us much about this, but
I would imagine that a great deal of time will be spent worshipping the Lord. The curse will be
removed from the earth and we will realize how blessed we are because of Jesus. The worship
will and should be incredible.
