Pastor Barry's  "Chapter & Verse"  2024  Day 108

April 17;         Galatians 3:11;           108/260;          ‘Just Live By Faith’

Galatians 3:11 But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for "the just shall live by faith."

This is another example of the incredible revelation, given by the Holy Spirit, the just shall live by faith.  As the Bible clearly teaches, the Law reveals, just as the Lord intended it to, that we are sinners and need God’s help to be saved.  The word justified is the same word as righteous.  We are made righteous in the eyes of God by faith.  When we hear the Word of God that teaches us what the Lord Jesus did for us and we believe the gospel message and accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior we are born again.  Our sins are forgiven, forgotten and cleansed.  Salvation is not what we have done nor is it by keeping the Ten Commandments, which were given to show us that we were sinners.  Salvation is believing with your spirit, that is where you faith is, that Jesus died for your sins and took your sicknesses upon Himself,  Salvation is believing what the Lord Jesus has done for us and accepting it as truth,  This verse tells us that the just (righteous) shall live by faith.  We use the faith that the Lord gave us to believe and be saved, then we use our faith to believe the Lord for all of the provisions and blessings He has given to us as His sons and daughters.  We can and should grow that saving faith.  We grow it by the Word of God. Reading the Word, studying the Word and doing the Word.  As time goes on, being diligent to spend time in the Word, we will develop strong faith to help us receive what the Lord by His love has provided for us.  We can develop strong faith to overcome any circumstance life or the devil brings as well.
