John 21:25 And there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. Amen.

It is said that the gospels cover only about 25 days of Jesus’ earthly ministry.  That is why this verse is so profound.  We are amazed at everything the Lord did as we read the gospels and yet that is just a fraction of His whole ministry.  Obviously, once it was known that not only did Jesus teach as no one ever did, but that He healed everyone who had a need, the multitudes followed and thronged Him everywhere He went.  Jesus did all of this in three and one half years.  We won’t have the multitudes following us as Jesus did, but in our lifetime, think of everyone we can influence for the Lord.  You might say, but I have a job.  That is true.  But on your job, if you sincerely care, and ask the Lord to help you, He will lead you to those who need to know Jesus.  I like to look at life as an adventure.  Hollywood has made up adventures that get more preposterous all the time.  The superheroes of these movies are nothing compared to the Lord’s superhero who daily is out there breaking and defeating the forces of darkness over the lives of those you minister to.  Hollywood’s heroes, when the smoke and dust settle, have saved the world for a finite time (until the next evil villain comes along).  We, as we lead someone to Jesus, have the incredible privilege of seeing forever with Jesus deposited into their spirit.  We are true forces for good, writing our own ‘books’ of our exploits for the Lord.  You are a man or woman of God.  No title is greater.
