Pastor Barry's  "Chapter & Verse"  Day 153

June 2;    Revelation 20:3;   153/260(II);    ‘The Millennial Reign’

Revelation 20:3 and he (an angel) cast him (satan) into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while.

Here is a quick summary of where we are in Revelation.  The church and Old Testament saints were raptured before the Tribulation.  The Lord always gets His people out before judgment.  Noah and the flood, Lot and Sodom and Gomorrah.  Those who died in Christ, their bodies are resurrected and united with their spirit in heaven.  We, who are alive as we ascend to heaven our bodies are changed into resurrection bodies.  We then are rewarded by Jesus for our faithfulness while we were alive and served Him.  Just before the battle of Armageddon, we ‘marry’ the Lord Jesus and there is an incredible banquet and feast.  The anti-Christ, a tool of the devil deceives multitudes and also with fear, countless numbers of people take the mark of the beast, sealing their eternal doom.  At the battle of Armageddon, the Lord Jesus instantly annihilates the anti-Christ forces.  The anti-Christ and his followers are sent to the Lake of Fire forever.  Satan is bound for one thousand years and the Lord Jesus reigns.  The curse is removed from the earth.  Only those who accepted Jesus are alive on the earth after the Tribulation.  They live and have children.  Those children must decide, as we did, if Jesus is their Lord.  Even though the Lord is reigning, many of these children as they grow will not accept Jesus.  When satan is released after the Millennium, he will deceive them to follow him. After rebelling, they and satan are sent to the Lake of Fire.
