Pastor Barry's  "Chapter & Verse"  Day 147

May 27;       Revelation 14:11;       147/260(II);       ‘The Plight of the Lost’

Revelation 14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name."

During the tribulation, those who receive the mark of the beast in their forehead or on their right hand are doomed to hell.  We cannot comprehend the horror, the pain and the finality of being eternally separated from the Lord Jesus Christ.  The founder of the Bible School we attended saw the Lord Jesus in visions several times.  What this minister always said was the eyes of Jesus are like ‘pools of living love’.  Before everyone who have rejected Jesus, not just during the tribulation, are eternally separated from Jesus, they will see Him and know the love He has for them.  They will also know that they will never experience that love or see it again.  The School founder said that he believes knowing they will never experience that love again will be the true torment of hell.  I used this scripture to encourage all of us, including myself, that we must do everything that we can to endeavor always to reach everyone we can with the love of the Lord and the gospel.  When we hear about someone who is seriously ill or facing other serious challenges, the love of the Lord in us, must reach out to them and do all that we can to lead them to our Lord Jesus Christ.  If you are shy and not sure about leading someone to the Lord, ask the Lord to help, the Holy Spirit will and the joy you experience is better than anything else.  No one wants the lost saved more than Jesus.  The Holy Spirit in you will bring out of you the scriptures you need to share and the love of God in you, because you care, will open their spirit to receive Jesus.
