April 11;    Hebrews 1:10;    101/260(II);     ‘Jesus, Creator’

Hebrews 1:10 "You, LORD, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, And the heavens are the work of Your hands.

The Holy Spirit, speaking through the author of Hebrews, I believe it was Paul, reveals what God the Father is saying about the Lord Jesus, His Son.  Jesus Christ created everything.  Jesus is the One who perfectly framed the earth with His words (Hebrews 11:3).  Jesus is the One who upholds all things in the earth with His words (Hebrews 1:3).  God the Father revealed to Jesus everything He wanted.  The Lord Jesus created everything the Father wanted with His words. The Holy Spirit reveals to us everything the Father and Jesus did during creation.  There are several other verses in the Bible that confirm that the Lord Jesus is the Creator.  John 1:10 teaches that the world was made by the Lord Jesus and the world (humanity) did not know Him.   Ephesians 3:9 tells us that God the Father created everything through His Son, Jesus.  Colossians 1:16 teaches that Jesus created all things.  I said all of that to say, think about the love and humility of the Lord Jesus.  Jesus left heaven, stripped Himself of His deity and came to earth.  He taught, healed and ministered to multitudes after He was empowered by the Holy Spirit to do so.  Jesus had to be empowered by the Holy Spirit because He left deity in heaven.  But not only did Jesus help us, He subjected Himself to humiliation, degradation and unspeakable pain inflicted by His very own creation.  They crucified Jesus on the tree He created.  Our eternity was at stake.  The Creator willing allowed His creation to fulfill what God the Father sent Jesus to do, save us from our sins and sicknesses.  Thank you Jesus, Creator for loving your creation.
