In the light of what is going on, before today's blog, here is a scripture I encourage you to declare several times a day over yourself and your loved ones.

Deuteronomy 7:15 And the Lord will protect you from all sickness.  PB

Pastor Barry's  "Chapter & Verse"  Day 92

April 2;   I Corinthians 15:52;   148/260(I);   ‘The Trumpet Will Sound’

1 Corinthians 15:52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

End Times, future biblical events are fascinating.  If you are a Christian, the fulfillment of the scriptures are nothing to fear.  The next event that will take place, in the end time calendar, is the rapture of the church.  The rapture sets the stage for a seven year period on earth, called the tribulation.  These events are not to confuse and the Lord has a specific purpose for each.  During the tribulation God is dealing with Israel to accept Jesus as their Messiah and He is dealing with a God rejecting world to turn to Him.  The anti-Christ will be on the scene, especially during the second half of the seven year tribulation period.  The Bible makes it very clear that what will take place is directed by the Lord and not the devil.  Too often, movies and even biblical messages major on what the devil is doing.  The Lord Jesus is always in control and the tribulation is no different.  Before the tribulation, the church will be taken to heaven.  At the rapture of the church a trumpet will sound and we, the living will be taken to heaven.  Our bodies will be changed to ‘resurrection bodies’ so that we can live in the spiritual realm that heaven is.  Christian bodies of those who previously passed away will be resurrected and changed to a resurrection body and reunited with their spirits.  There is nothing about the church in Revelation chapters 5-19, while the Lord deals with the Jews and the lost.  God always gets His people out before trouble.  Noah and his family and Lot are perfect examples. The church will not go through the tribulation.  We belong to Jesus and the Lord does not have to deal with us.
