Pastor Barry's  "Chapter & Verse"  Day 72

March 13;   Romans 11:29;   128/260(I);   ‘Gifts & Callings’

Romans 11:29 For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.

Jeremiah 1:5 tells us that God had a specific calling on Jeremiah before he was born.  Since the Lord is no respecter of persons, the Lord has a specific call on each of our lives.  Whether or not you fulfill the Lord’s will for your life is not up to Him, it is up to us.  When you become Born Again, your walk with the Lord begins.  The Lord desires you to be serious about your Christianity.  He wants you to become baptized in the Holy Spirit, read the Word, pray, worship Him and attend and become active in a Bible believing Church.  The Bible teaches that the Holy Spirit will lead you (Romans 8:14).  You can learn to quiet your mind down a listen to your spirit.  This is where the Lord will lead you.  As you grow in the things of God, seek to know what it is specifically that the Lord would have you to do.  He will surely show you.  Your fulfilling the will of the Lord for your life is important to the Lord, because as we seek His will, find it and do His will, that is how we will be most productive for Jesus.   Refuse to be indifferent to the things of God and spend little or no time in your walk with Jesus.  The Bible teaches that many are called but few are chosen (Matthew 22:14).  The call never changes, but the Lord will never force you to fulfill His will for your life.  The choice is yours.  If you choose to fulfill His call, you will enjoy the greatest, most exciting and wonderful life imaginable.  If you refuse the call, you will miss out and your life will never be what the Lord Jesus wanted it to be.  The Lord created you, loves you and has an incredible life for you. Let Him lead you always.
