March 10;   Romans 8:14;   125/260(I);   ‘Led By The Spirit’

Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

When you become Born Again, the Holy Spirit comes to live in your spirit (John 14:17).  The Holy Spirit is just as much God as God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.  The Bible teaches that before we were born the Lord knew us and had a specific plan for each of us.  One of the many blessings He brings, when He comes to live in your spirit, is direction for your life.  The Lord has a plan for each of our lives and the Holy Spirit will lead you in line with God’s perfect will for your life.  There are some things we must know, believe and do in order to take advantage of this blessing.  You need to know that the Holy Spirit lives in your spirit when you are Born Again and that He desires to lead you to fulfill God’s plan for you.  God’s Word tells us this. When you know and follow God’s plan for you, you maximize the impact of your ministry. Your impact on this world as a Christian is enhanced when you are in line with the Lord’s will for your life.  The Bible is God’s ‘general plan’ for your life. The specific call on your life if revealed to you as you quiet your mind down and listen for the specific leading of the Holy Spirit for your life.  Once you know that the Holy Spirit will lead you, begin to declare that you are led by the Holy Spirit, that you ‘hear’ His voice and that you follow His leading.  Your life will be blessed and so will this world since you now know and are doing God’s will for your life.  What you are called to do for the Lord as revealed to you by the Holy Spirit is your call alone.  We are only responsible to the Lord for what He has called each of us to do.  Seek, find, be blessed.
