July 22:   Revelation 20:2;   258/260(I);   ‘The Millenium’

Revelation 20:2 He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years;

The battle of Armageddon ends the great tribulation.  The antichrist and his forces were crushed by the Lord Jesus Christ.  The antichrist is thrown into the lake of fire, where he will be for all eternity.  A might angel comes down from heaven with a chain (this is the spiritual realm) and he binds satan with that chain and casts him into the bottomless pit, where satan will be imprisoned for one thousand years.  The curse, Adam brought upon the earth, will be lifted.  This is a time where the lion and lamb will lay down together, where previously poisonous snakes will no longer be dangerous.  The Lord Jesus will rule and reign for the Millenium and the Church, the 144 thousand Jewish evangelists and the Christian tribulation martyrs will rule with Jesus.  Once the antichrist forces are gone, the only people left on the earth with natural bodies are the Christians who accepted the Lord Jesus and survived the tribulation and did not receive the mark of the beast.  Since the curse has been lifted, those on the earth will live for a very long time and have children.  As has always been the case, those children will have to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.  Many will and many will not.  When the thousand years are over, satan will be released from the bottomless pit.  The devil will go forth to deceive those who have not accepted Jesus as Lord.  Those who have rejected Jesus will be drawn by satan to Jerusalem to ‘battle’ the Lord.  In an instant, fire comes down from heaven and devours them all.  Satan is cast into the lake of fire, those who did not accept Jesus will be judged.  Eternity is about to begin.
