July 15:   Revelation 13:18;   251/260(I);   ‘666’

Revelation 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.

The last three and one half years of the tribulation are called the great tribulation.  The antichrist has revealed himself as ‘god.’  He is a pawn of the devil.  The beast is the satanic system headed by the antichrist.  The false prophet is a devil inspired religious leader.  It is not important to separate the individuals in this chapter, an overall idea is what I will share in this short blog.  Demonically inspired signs and wonders will be occurring.  Many people who have become Born Again during the tribulation will be martyred.  The devil, because of pride, has always desired worship.  During the great tribulation, the antichrist will demand worship.  The antichrist will establish a demonically inspired religion, declaring he is god.  Everyone will be required to take the number of the beast on their forehead or their right hand.  The number is 666.  It is the number of man.  Man was created on the sixth day.  Mankind that does not recognize or honor the Lord Jesus Christ, has that same demonic nature, pride.  Humanism, I will do what I want and I am accountable to no one will be the deceived declarations of the lost.  If you do not take the mark of the beast, no one is allowed to buy or sell.  Those saved during the tribulation will be persecuted.  The Lord will be helping those who are saved during the tribulation, but as stated, many of these Christians will be martyred.  The Lord has done and even then will continue to do all He can to draw the unsaved to Jesus.  Humanity, without God, can be so arrogant and prideful absolutely refusing Jesus to soften their hardened hearts and save them.  He has tried.
