Pastor Barry's  "Chapter & Verse"  Day 148

May 28;   Philemon 1:6;   204/260(I);   ‘Tell Them What He’s Done’

Philemon 6 that the sharing of your faith may become effective by the acknowledgment of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.

We are Ambassadors for the Lord Jesus Christ.  We represent Him and our eternal home in heaven.  The more we share Jesus with others and what He has done for us, the more real it will be in us and the more we will want to do it.  Once you become Born Again, and take God’s Word seriously, the blessings freely given to us by the Lord are incredible.  Starting with eternal life, forgiveness of sins, health, peace, prosperity, on and on.  Praising the Lord for all that He has done for us is easy when we take time to see in His Word what is ours.  It is proper that we thank the Lord Jesus for all that He has done for us.  Letting everyone we can know how good the Lord is becomes our desire.  When we honestly acknowledge that life without Jesus is empty and meaningless, the desire for others who do not know Him to know Him becomes a very important priority to us.  Regardless of what others have in the natural, if they are not saved, they desperately need Jesus.  Your testimony of who you were and what your life was like without Jesus will impact others.  Then as you share where your life is now, because of what Jesus has done for you, it will make a powerful impact on them.  Even if the one you share with does not acknowledge it, the Holy Spirit will begin to deal with their spirit.  As you do this, you will be doing the work of the ministry.  Each of us have been given specific things to do for the Lord, He will show you what they are.  All of us are called to live a godly life and share with others how wonderful Jesus has been to us and will be to them as well.  Nothing is more vital for their life
