Pastor Barry's  "Chapter & Verse"  Day 333

November 29, 2018;      Philippians 4:13;       178/260(III);        ‘I Can Do’

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

A short and profoundly vital truth.  We can do all things through the Lord Jesus Christ.  The Bible teaches us that we are made in the image of God.  We were given authority to rule this world.  Adam lost that authority when he disobeyed God, Jesus Christ got it back when He rose from the dead.  When we are born again, the love of the Lord and the fruit of the Holy Spirit are deposited into our spirit.  When we get baptized in the Holy Spirit, the miracle working power of the Holy Spirit comes upon us and anoints us to minister just as the Lord Jesus did.  We have been given the Name of Jesus to use in ministry and defending ourselves.  If you put that all together, we are Jesus Christ on this earth right now.  We have to be.  No one else can fix this world except Jesus and He now does that through us, His church.  We have been made in the image of God and if we believe that and conduct ourselves in a godly manner, others will clearly see Jesus in us.  We have authority to bind and loose what should not be and what should be.  We do this through prayer.  This is real, believe who you are in Jesus and by faith, use your authority to minister.  The love of Jesus and the fruit of the Spirit are in our spirit, enabling us to get along with and have favor with everyone.  How they treat us is not the issue.  It is how we respond and treat them.  We have the incredible power of the Holy Spirit to help others and set them free from whatever may be binding them.  We have the Name of Jesus, the highest Name there is to use to effectively help ourselves and others. We can surely do all things through Jesus.
